Lori Jo has worked at Gem State Developmental Center since 1999 and is the Owner and Administrator. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Idaho State University and a Master's in Social Work from Boise State University. Lori Jo has 25 years of experience working with adults and children with developmental disabilities and mental health diagnoses.
Lori Jo's therapeutic experience includes parental coaching, sexuality and trauma; effective cognitive self-change, anger management, behavior modification, and drug and alcohol education. She is currently the President of the Board of Idaho Families of Adults with Disabilities. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and pursuing hobbies like pool league and crochet.
Jamie has worked for Gem State Developmental Center since June 2013. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology through the University of Phoenix and her Master of Science degree in Early Childhood Studies from Walden University. As Clinical Director of Adult Services, Jamie enjoys supporting participants in meeting their goals and serves as the primary supervisor for staff in her department. Jamie enjoys spending time with family and friends, creating arts & crafts, and being outdoors in nature.
Julia has been with GSDC since 2022. She moved to Idaho in 2019 and received her BA in Psychology and Communication from NNU in 2023. She believes in treating all fellow humans with love, respect, and dignity. In her free time, she enjoys being with her person, paddleboarding, watching movies, playing board and card games, and playing with her dogs (Max & Roo) and cat (Fig).
Tony has worked for Gem State Developmental Center since October of 2019. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Multidisciplinary Studies with a certification in Innovation & Emerging Ideas Design. With over 20+ years in the human service field, Tony has a fondness for learning.
During his eight years of military service, Tony gained experience across a broad spectrum of roles and environments, developing skills in leadership, project management, crisis intervention, operational planning, analysis, and performance evaluation. These experiences strengthened his ability to adapt, collaborate, and solve complex challenges in dynamic settings. In support of GSDC's mission, Tony is committed to identifying innovative opportunities that enhance services, strengthen organizational effectiveness, and create pathways for continued success. Outside of his professional responsibilities, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as reading and writing.
Krysty has been with Gem State Developmental Center since 2022. With years of administrative experience, Krysty is integral in the daily office management functions of GSDC. She currently holds the position of Senior Secretary and is the Medicaid Billing Coordinator for the company. Krysty enjoys spending time with family and friends and loves making a difference in the lives of others.
Paul has been with Gem State Developmental Center since 2021. As the primary point of contact for IT-related issues, he works closely with all departments within GSDC, providing technical assistance and instructions for all designated projects.
