Program Support Specialist
Tony has worked for Gem State Developmental Center since 2019. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Multidisciplinary Studies with a certificate in Innovation & Design. He has 10 years of experience working with adults and children with developmental disabilities. This has allowed him to work across multiple areas, with a diverse population.
Tony served eight years in the US Army whereby he acquired extensive training in project management, crisis intervention and small operations analysis, planning, and evaluation. Tony has taken this military experience and utilized it to manage special projects for GSDC. Tony is thankful for the opportunity to continue exploring ways to maximize key potential pathways for GSDC, participants, and staff. He attributes his success to being an active listener and occupying a positive space.
